Flowline Mechanic

Job Description:

Integrate components or sub assemblies in a metallic or composites structure.

Specific positioning of this role in the whole working process:

A.  Work preparations

• Handling the parts and sections by crane and carriers

• Preparation of jigs, tools and parts for structure assembly

B. Work Process

• Marking and measuring based on drawings and handbooks

• Clamping and hand drilling, reaming and deburring, fettling of parts

• Sealing application

• Locate drill off jigs and templates perform taper-lok process

• Perform cold working process

• Countersink and spot-facing 

• Riveting and bolting and torque with wrenches

• Surface preparations, apply protective treatments

• Use of specialized tooling

• Use of torque tools

• Accurate work as per design

C. AFTER WORK PROCESS

• Use IT- system applications on computer Perform shop floor documents

D. PRE- QUALIFICATIONS

• To produce all kind of screwed connections

• Installation of all kind of screwed and riveted brackets (except ATA 92)

• securing screwed connections

• tightening screwed connections

Key activities:

• Installation and Assembly of structural or system components under sometimes very difficult conditions and with an extremely high accuracy

• Independent performance of operations according to work orders and respective design documents and process specifications

Generic requirement:

Health condition allowing the following exposition:

1. Working under noise conditions > 85Dez. G20

2. Working in small rooms

3. Working with heavy tools and difficult static positions

4. without spine and knee problems

5. Eyes inspection

6. Working on platforms and Ladder

7. No criminal records

Key capabilities & Skills:

• Knowledge of the principles, practices, methods, tools, and materials used in the metal working and automobile mechanic.

• Industry safety practices and procedures.

• Knowledge of the Industry quality control in all aspects of the job.

• Very good technical understanding about instruction and drawing

• Reliable

• Ability to work independently

• Ability to work with high accuracy, even under pressure

• Ability to work in an international team
 

Minimum & Expected years of experience:

• 3 - 5 years of practical experience in the manufacturing industry, experience in the aerospace industry is plus.

Educational Qualifications:

• Mechanic apprentice

• written and spoken English
