Job Responsibilities
- Trouble shoots and corrects mechanical and electrical malfunctions.
- Designs or modifies designs for machine, apparatus or equipment.
- Prepares necessary construction details and determines production methods.
- Provides assistance, as required on construction, manufacturing methods, materials and processes.
- Plans and/or performs the construction and installation of engines, machines, and industrial equipment.
- Works to tolerances as required for satisfactory operation of equipment and code specifications.
- Trouble shoots and corrects mechanical and electrical malfunctions.
- Performs welding, heating, ventilating, air conditioning and cabinet work.
- Performs work with little supervision.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- 5 years General Mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to lift over 50 lbs and work at various heights for extended periods.
- US Person per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance and site SSA requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- HVAC, Electrical, Welding, Pipe Fitting experience
- Proficient at using CMMS.
