POSITION PURPOSE
The Heavy Maintenance Production Control Coordinator supports MRO maintenance facility by being on site. This role is the primary contract for Maintenance Planning and for outgoing repairs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES

- Verify part information for repairable parts.
- Perform transactions in Ramco of install and removal of aircraft components.
- Performs necessary data entry and reporting.
- Create returns for repairable parts.
- Add/remove task(s) for the MRO for them to perform as guided by Maintenance Planning.
- Reprint jobcards that have been added.
- Release Visit Packages (VP) as required.
- Create Material Requests (MR) daily as reported by MRO.
- Resolve all pending part issues for MRO location.
- Identify disposition of all removed parts – scrap or repairable.
- Responsible for parts receiving inspection as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- 1 year of experience in supply, production control, or data entry.
- Strong Microsoft Excel experience.
PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- 2 or more years of experience in supply, production control or data entry.
- Possess working knowledge of material logistics, Maintenance Planning or Production Control.
REGULATORY
- Possess, or ability to obtain, a valid US passport.
- Authorized to work in the United States as defined in the Immigration Reform Act of 1986 and be able to travel in and out of the United States.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
REASONING/PROBLEM SOLVING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Travel up to 80 of the time, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overnight travel.
