About Us
Aerotek, on behalf of its client, is seeking skilled Hydraulic Technicians to join a leading heavy lift helicopter maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) company.
This role is based in a back shop setting, providing critical support for heavy-lift helicopters.
Compensation
- Local: $28-32/hr
- Non-local: $39.25/hr + $166/day per diem (total compensation $52/hr)
Schedule
- Initially a 5-day schedule (8am - 4:30pm) for several weeks
- Transitioning to a 4-day schedule (6am - 4:30pm), either Mon-Thurs or Tues-Fri
- Overtime available
Role Overview
As a Hydraulic Technician, you will work in a bench repair and testing environment within the Hydraulics shop of the MRO component repair building. Your
responsibilities will include disassembling, troubleshooting, repairing, reassembling, testing, and certifying hydraulic systems and related units for heavy-lift helicopters.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform overhaul, repair, and testing of rotorcraft hydraulic components and parts.
- Fabricate and install hydraulic tubing and hoses.
- Service hydraulic systems.
- Read and interpret maintenance manuals.
- Clean and inspect hydraulic systems, components, and parts for damage and wear.
- Replace or repair damaged or worn hydraulic components and parts.
- Fabricate and install hydraulic lines, hoses, and pipes using hand and power tools.
- Utilize special tools and equipment to perform tests and checks to confirm hydraulic component or aircraft hydraulic system serviceability.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess A&P License.
- Military I-level/Bench repair experience encouraged to apply.
- Experience in hydraulic systems maintenance and repair.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools and tool benders.
