The primary responsibilities of the IA Floor Inspector are inspecting aircraft and providing guidance on all aspects of aircraft maintenance prior to the final return to service. The ideal candidate exercises strong judgment, exceptional knowledge of FAA regulations, and demonstrates a commitment to the success of the company by positively supporting the company’s directives and objectives.
Essential Responsibilities/Duties
- Ensure all maintenance work is carried out to the highest quality standards, meeting both company and regulatory requirements.
- AD and Advisory Circulars research and compliance
- Inspects aircraft repairs and alterations on the shop floor to return the aircraft to airworthiness.
- Inspect aircraft repairs, replacements, and alterations for final return to service.
- Other duties or responsibilities as assigned by your Manager.
The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:
- Must hold a current valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P) with no history of infractions. IA certification required.
- A minimum of five years of aviation experience.
- Must live in close proximity or willing to relocate Hazleton, PA.
Salary Range
Up to $55/hr based off of experience.
