ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a Quality Inspector for an exciting space exploration company which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in mechanical dimensional inspection to further their career with a great company.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspection on raw materials and finished products
- Calibrate, validate, and maintain equipment
- Interpret test results, compare them to established specifications and control limits, and make recommendations on appropriateness of data for release
- Monitor testing procedures to ensure all tests are performed according to established item specifications
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in dimensional inspection of aerospace components
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Experience inspecting tight tolerance, high value components
- Fluent in the use of precision hand tools, gages, optical comparators, and surface plate work
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS
- CMM and/or Articulating Romer ARM experience
- Strong GD&T understanding
- Vibration table test skills
- Forklift or crane experience
