OVERTIME

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION
  1. Must have 2+ years of experience of interiors experience or repair on aircraft components
  2. Manager is looking for those with composite and backshop repiar experience
  3. Repair experience with aircraft / general aviation trained in one aircraft type; proficient and demonstrated skill with the aircraft.
  4. Recent depot level aircraft maintenance and repair experience is required.
  5. Demonstrates correct understanding of routine aspects of work .
  6. Knowledge of machines and tools, including their uses, repairs, and maintenance.
  7. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service.
  8. Skilled with repairing, troubleshooting, installing and equipment maintenance.
  9. Knowledge of FAA requirements for aircraft maintenance procedures
  10. Ability to interpret and comprehend manufacturer and FAA approved work package instructions; ability to inspect and install parts/components. 
  11. Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, EPA, State and Federal regulations.
  12. As required by the position, must have the ability to wear a respirator as per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134 "Respirator Protection" regulations with no restrictions that would prevent the proper use and/or seal of the respirator.
  13.  Ability to work flexible hours and different shifts if required
  14.  Employees will be subject to the random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
 
Interior Mechanics will remove and install aircraft seats, bins, galleys, carpeting, blankets and perform minor sheet metal work on commercial aircraft in compliance with policies, manuals, procedures and requirements.

Qualifications and requirements:
  • 2+years of experience repairing commercial aircraft interiors.
  • Must have the minimum tools as required.
  • Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
  • Must be willing to work any shift.
  • Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
