This position is responsible for providing repair services on a variety of helicopters including Sikorsky, Bell and Airbus products. Duties will include carrying out OEM approved inspections repairs and overhaul to airframe and components following all customer and regulatory and quality standards. Strong project coordination skills and job estimating; as well as knowledge of aircraft systems and aviation standards will be essential for these positions. The ability to produce quality work in non-negotiable deadlines is key part to this position.

Key areas of responsibilities: 

• Assign resources on projects to complete tasks within allocated times, at or below estimated cost. Adapt to changing priorities and AOG conditions as communicated by management. 
• Maintain and update accurate technical paperwork for assigned work or project
• Planning of project work flow, organize and coordinate parts and component repairs.
• Repairing and maintenance of mechanical systems and components
• Troubleshooting and ensuring operational performance and standards of the entire aircraft.
• Liaise with customers to address questions or concerns when required.
• Assist the sales and customer service departments with quoting repair estimates. 
• Develop work methods, procedures, and standards, if necessary
• Ensure the cleaning, maintenance and calibration of shop equipment and specialized tools.
• Ensure established tool control procedures for the shop are maintained.
• Ensure established FOD control procedures for the shop are maintained.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and promote a safe working environment.
• Ensure work areas are kept clean, tidy and organized including tool and parts control.
• Ensure that all maintenance requirements are carried out to the quality standards of TCCA, Company Quality Control Procedures and the OEMs.
• Enter time ticket information 
• Train and mentor apprentices or jr. mechanics under their team.
• Act as a back up to Supervisor/Manager

Role requirements: 

• Current/valid AME (M1 or M2) License
• Previous Helicopter Aircraft Maintenance experience preferred.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience working in the maintenance on helicopters and aviation
• Previous experience in a leadership role managing a team is preferred, and a strong aptitude for providing guidance, including the ability to build and motivate cohesive, effective teams
• Comprehensive understanding of quality assurance standards, and Company Policies
• Mechanical aptitude
