We are looking to bring on licensed aircraft mechanics, ideally with their M2 license, to work on our current maintenance lines on Embraer Regional jets (145), ATR 42/72, or Dash 8 100/200. M2s with endorsements on the previously mentioned aircraft will be preferred and will have the authority to sign off on the aircraft. Mechanics will be required to perform various maintenance tasks including panel removal.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that work performed on aircraft or components complies with manufacturers recommended standards, Canadian Aviation Regulations, company policies and procedures, and applicable regulations (Transport Canada, FAA, etc.).
• Ensure that quarantined parts are properly labeled and routed to the correct location.
• Ensure that all spare parts are inspected and certified prior to installation.
• Sign all applicable forms or work files in accordance with company policies and procedures.

• M2 license
• 5 years experience on Embraer RJ 145, Dash 8 100-200, or ATR 42-72
• Heavy maintenance experience
• Ability to read and understand English maintenance manuals

• Endorsement on RJ 145, Dash 8 100-200, or ATR 42-72
• Proficiency in French

Work Environment

You will work in a full hangar with about 4 aircraft at all times. The hangar maintains a good temperature but can get a little colder during the winter when the doors are open. You will be part of a non-unionized, multicultural team of over 30 technicians working across 2 shifts. The dress code requires clean work clothes and steel toe boots. You need to be available for all shifts: day shift (6:30AM to 3PM) and evening shift (3:00PM to 1:30AM), with potential schedules of 4 on/4 off or 4 on/3 off.
