The opportunity

As a Maintenance Controller - CAMM2 you will provide planning supporting Deeper Level Maintenance (DLM) and Modification Services on the P8-A Poseidon platform at Royal Australian Air Force Base Edinburgh. The Boeing P8 is truly a multi-mission maritime patrol aircraft, excelling at anti-submarine warfare; anti-surface warfare; intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance and search and rescue.

Responsibilities

  • Control the maintenance and repairs of aircraft, aircraft components and support equipment.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of aircraft maintenance schedules and planning documentation.
  • Supports coordination of materials, tools, aircraft components and support equipment requisitioning, receipt and allocation.
  • Support collection and disposition of aircraft, components and support equipment maintenance data.

Experience/Qualifications

  • CAMM2 Data Manager Qualifications.
  • Minimum 12 months experience as a Maintenance Controller - CAMM2 maintenance environment.
  • Previous experience in maintenance planning and scheduling is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a high tempo operating environment.
  • High level of computer literacy including Microsoft office suite.
  • Experience working in a safety critical environment.

Security Clearance

You will be required to successfully undergo the vetting process for a Government security clearance sponsored by BDA. Therefore, you must be willing to disclose all relevant and required information and must have the ability to verify your background for whole of life i.e. birth to present time.
