POSITION PURPOSE
Sustains and revises the scheduled maintenance plan as necessary per operational needs, and is the point of contact in the SOC for the Maintenance Planning Department. Sets task priorities and disperses work packages to the maintenance bases.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES

- Releases packages, sets priorities, and sends paperwork for each night’s scheduled work. Prints nightly two day (service check) packages for routine overnight aircraft at maintenance base locations. Develops and sends over the Daily Planning sheets for the line stations. Compiles and sends out a list of the pushed/not completed maintenance from the previous night.
- Oversees maintenance plan and makes adjustments as necessary due to unexpected issues.
- Review all work packages for tooling and other specialized manpower requirements
- Monitors airframe inspection compliance and component time changes and advises appropriate departments of change/inspection due.
- Addresses un-routed aircraft and any short fuse or critical items.
- Ensures that plan for the work matches with routing for Aircraft, and if not, work with Dispatch and Maintenance Control to resolve.
- Reviews Minimum Equipment List and insures items are on the visit package for planes scheduled to be serviced.
- Reviews five day and two week Maintenance Due Reports daily. Reconciles discrepancies on the report with Records, Maintenance and/or Maintenance Control. Ensures tasks coming due are planned accordingly.
- Verifies all visit packages have been returned from the previous night and compare to final visit packages to insure all tasks are complete and signed off correctly in parts system.
- Processes the Bills of Work from the night before. Completes final Bills of Work review/rescheduled process daily.
- Review and verify compliance on all maintenance-related tasks within FAA mandated time frames
- Maintains an accurate log of planning watch items by aircraft. Coordinates with Maintenance and Production Control for final work accomplishment
- Provides daily turnover communication of the fellow team members of critical tasks and items of importance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE.
High school diploma or equivalent. 1 year of related experience, in maintenance, planning or a related area; preferably in airline operations or airline maintenance. Additional education may be substituted for the year of related experience. Working knowledge of maintenance and planning tasks.
PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE.
Prior clerical or administrative experience. Microsoft Excel experience. A&P license.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Able to write simple correspondence. Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to internal customers and other employees of the organization.
REASONING/PROBLEM SOLVING ABILITY
Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Able to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
