Since 2011, Raytheon Australia have been contracted to deliver facilities services in support of the Harold E. Holt (HEH) Defence Precinct in Exmouth, Western Australia. Home to the Space Surveillance Telescope (SST), the C-Band Radar and Very Low Frequency (VLF) radio transmission capability, together these systems add a critical contribution to Australias space domain awareness and battlespace awareness missions.

Reporting to the Senior Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for organising the maintenance for one of our critical mission systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use planning tools to assist with planning and prioritisation activities for the Program maintenance teams.
- Building executable packages of work, including sourcing parts and services.
- Ensure all maintenance documentation is completed and certified in accordance with approved procedures and Maintenance Management requirements.
- Working closely with our Maintenance and Operations Supervisors to ensure the health of our maintenance process is monitored and controlled.
- Ad Hoc reporting from Maximo (our CMMS) to meet Customer and Internal Management queries.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- Certificate III in an Engineering related discipline with 6 years in a Maintenance Planner role in a heavy industry, fleet, or aviation context
- Demonstrated experience using Maximo, SAP, or an equivalent maintenance management system to manage work.
- Strong knowledge of technical equipment maintenance. Trade or Engineering Certification preferred.
- Customer focus (internal or external) is essential – you’ll be able to show how you’ve understood what your customer needs and how you’ve used your planning skills to deliver exceptional maintenance or operational results
- Computer literacy including the use of maintenance / asset management systems, windows operating system and Microsoft office / Microsoft 365.
- Candidate must be eligible to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Eligibility can be found at http://www.defence.gov.au/ag with ability to satisfy ITAR material access compliance.
