What You Will Be Doing
• Deliver Expert Training: Provide comprehensive training on 5th generation aircraft coatings and finishes for the F-35, including practical demonstrations, to international partners as well as Fort Worth production and flight operations employees.
• Develop and Execute Training Programs: Establish and deliver technical training on the installation, maintenance, and repair of aircraft coatings and finishes, covering specific tools, test equipment, and internal company systems (SFM, QADS, ICA, PDM, MPS’s, PS, and JDL).
• Prepare and Maintain Training Materials: Review and prepare lesson plans, set up classrooms, manage class rosters, and verify completion of courses, ensuring materials remain current and aligned with technical guidance.
• Ensure Instructor Proficiency: Maintain expertise and proficiency in assigned courses, meeting DCMA 8210 and other contractual training requirements, and serving as a technical consultant to engineering and production teams.
• International Travel as an SME: Travel domestically and internationally to deliver training as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for diverse military and civilian groups across various cultures and countries.
• Utilize Microsoft Office for Training Materials: Employ Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel, for creating, updating, and sharing training materials.

• Experienced Professional: You bring experience working with Low Observable Finishes and Coatings on the F-35, with the ability to provide hands-on and theoretical training.
• Skilled Communicator and Trainer: Known for delivering clear, engaging, and effective training sessions, with the flexibility to adapt to diverse international audiences.
• Detail-Oriented and Organized: Strong ability to manage course materials, rosters, and class logistics to ensure seamless delivery and accurate completion records.

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience installing and maintaining F-35 coatings/finishes on operational or new build aircraft.
• Experience with aircraft Low Observable (LO) materials, processes, and specifications utilized during manufacturing of F-35 aircraft.
• Experience utilizing Process Specifications, MPS’s, and/or aircraft technical data during the application of LO materials on the F-35.
• Experience handling, mixing, applying, inspecting, and removal of LO coating materials to include HVLP spray gun application processes.
• Experience with proper disposal of related paints, sealants, coatings, adhesives, and other hazardous waste chemicals.
Desired Skills:
• Minimum of 5 years of direct experience installing and maintaining F-35 coatings/finishes on operational or new build aircraft.
• Ability to obtain US Passport and travel internationally.
• Strong verbal and written skills.
• Computer, visual communications, and basic software skills to include but not limited to Windows, Microsoft Office 365, Teams, projectors, and visual displays.
• Ability to maintain respirator certification.
• Experience applying and maintaining F-22 and/or F-16 coatings and the repair of these materials in accordance technical directives.
• Demonstrated ability and experience coaching employees in the application of Low Observable and coating materials.
• Mod Temp and rain erosion material experience.
• Demonstrated ability and experience utilizing Instructional System Design (ISD)
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships and collaborate with others to meet training needs.
• Prior experience instructing training in a highly regulated environment
• Ability to work autonomously in a culturally diverse environment
• Demonstrated ability to develop and revise training material to keep technical information up to date and meet new training requirements
• Demonstrated instructor skills including classroom lecture, lab performance demonstrations and evaluations.
• Experienced traveler.
• Secret security clearance or the ability to hold one.
• Degree in related field.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
