Position: GSE Mechanic
Location: Denver, Colorado, 80249, United States
Pay Rate: $28.50 - $33.50 per hour based on experience
Type: Contract-to-Hire (3 months with potential for extension)
Shifts Available:
- 1st Shift: 6:00am-2:30pm (Monday-Friday)
- 2nd Shift: 2:00pm-10:30pm (Monday-Friday)
- 3rd Shift: 10:00pm-6:30am (Monday-Friday)
- Weekend Shift: Thursday to Monday or Friday to Tuesday, "Day Shift" options available (6am-2:30pm, 7am-3:30pm, 8am-4:30pm)
Job Description: Are you a skilled mechanic with a passion for maintaining and repairing ground support equipment? Join our team at Denver International Airport as a GSE Mechanic! In this role, you will:
Repair and service a variety of vehicles and equipment, including tow tractors, baggage carts, buses, trucks, and service vans.
Maintain heavy machinery, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Inspect ground support vehicles and equipment to determine necessary repairs.
Troubleshoot issues and schedule regular maintenance.
Maintain a clean and safe repair shop, track inventory of parts and tools, and keep a repair log for vehicles and equipment.

Additional Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous related experience preferred
On-the-job training provided
Must be physically able to access vehicles either by kneeling or lying on back
Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time
Work Environment:
Must be able to work part of each day in the Colorado elements, with approximately 30 of time spent outdoors
No overtime required
Must be willing to work either Saturday or Sunday, as well as holidays
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.50 - $33.50
