Pay: $50–$55/hour
Our client is currently seeking an experienced NDT Inspector to join their growing aviation team in Lexington, KY. This is an excellent opportunity for an aviation professional with strong inspection experience and knowledge of non-destructive testing methods within an FAA-regulated environment.
Responsibilities

Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections on aircraft components and structures

Conduct inspections using approved methods and procedures in compliance with FAA and company standards

Interpret inspection results and document findings accurately

Ensure all inspections meet quality assurance and safety requirements

Review maintenance and inspection records for compliance

Work closely with maintenance, engineering, and quality teams

Maintain inspection equipment and ensure calibration standards are met

Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis when required
Qualifications
-
Previous aviation NDT inspection experience required

Certification in one or more NDT methods preferred (PT, MT, UT, ET, RT, etc.)

Strong understanding of FAA regulations and aviation quality standards

Experience working in MRO, manufacturing, or aviation maintenance environments

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and specifications

Strong attention to detail and documentation skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Experience

Aerospace or aviation industry background

NAS 410 or equivalent certification preferred

Experience inspecting aircraft components, engines, or structures
