Amentum is hiring a O-Level Maintenance Control Advisor. Has 8 years current or previous experience in controlling daily aircraft maintenance in support of squadron operations on MH-R/S helicopters to include but not limited to: Performed as a Maintenance Control Advisor knowledgeable and able to assist in coordinating maintenance efforts required to meet the daily flight schedule. Has advised the customer on releasing aircraft safe for flight, assigned project/priority codes, recommended cannibalization actions, reviewed aircraft discrepancy books for recommending aircraft safe for flight, and meet established timeline goals for phase and special inspections.
Minimum Qualifications:
8 years current or previous experience performing complex helicopter mechanical work.
Minimum High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, schematics, etc.
Skill in the use of a wide variety of complicated hand and power tools, as well as precision measuring instruments, associated with the trade.
Able to follow drawings for integrated electronic systems and identify effects a change in one system will have on other systems and determine parts to be replaced or adjusted. May include collateral duties as defined on COMNAVAIRFOR 4790.2 series Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP)
Must be able to obtain/maintain United States Secret Security Clearance, NOTE: US Citizenship is required to obtain maintain US Secret Security Clearance.
