Job duties include:
- Dismantles, repairs, redesigns, rebuilds, modifies, and assembles all vehicle components and structures including engines, electrics, transmissions, and hydraulics to gas, diesel, LP and electric industrial power trucks, and other plant vehicles.
- Lubricates and services plant vehicles with gas, oil, grease, air, water, hydraulic fluids and transmission fluids.
- Reads and interprets electric and hydraulic schematics, blueprints and service manuals. Uses testing equipment to diagnose and troubleshoot.
- Perform cutting, burning and tack welding. Perform non-destructive testing.
- Enter time, keep records, logs, reports, and maintain databases.
- The successful candidate will be required to complete a 6-month probationary period.

- Must be a verified vehicle and or truck mechanic who has 2 to 5 years of on-the-job experience as a mechanic.
- Must successfully complete and pass Truck Repair Mechanic testing requirements (qualified candidates will be contacted with instructions on how to complete the test.)
