Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job DescriptionReceive inspections. Pull parts and check if the lot number was already inspected to move the part along with minimal paperwork. Review drawings and inspection check sheets to identify and verify necessary certifications according to the blueprint. Measure parts to ensure quality using calipers, rules, micrometers, and radius gauges before placing them into inventory. Ensure dimensions and certifications meet blueprint specifications. Process non-conformances in Oracle and complete necessary documentation. Inspect work-in-process parts to ensure they meet print and work order instructions.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Chesterfield, Missouri.
Work Environment
Report to the Quality Manager. Work with 4 Quality Technicians and 1 Quality Engineer. Quality lead coordinates specialty inspections and assigns workflow. Rotation between Work In Process inspections and Receiving inspections, with the possibility of floating between the two or having a monthly assignment. Priorities are established by the planning group or by inspecting the oldest parts in receiving inventory. Typically a 4-day workweek (10-hour days), either Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday, with a preference for Tuesday-Friday. Hours are 7 AM to 5:30 PM, averaging 40-45 hours per week, with more voluntary time available. Extra days usually involve shorter hours.
