Position Summary
Position Summary: Responsible for safe inspection of PG 7 products. Utilize standard measuring devices, such as micrometers, verniers and various gauges.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions: •Inspection of seals and sealing systems using measuring devices and gauges.•Read and interpret work orders and procedures.•Create and maintain reports, including spreadsheets in excel.•Communicate with others on work order status and completion of work.•Create neat and precise written quality records.•Perform incoming, in-process and final inspection on all products.Qualifications: High school diploma. Experience using measuring devices.Experience creating and maintaining inspection reports, including spreadsheets in excel. Ability to lift 25 pounds.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAbility to prioritize workload. Strong communication skills – written and verbal. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Experience in visual inspection for material or part defects. Able to discuss technical problems encountered with manager and engineering. Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills. Basic computer skills necessary.Typical Mental and Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and walk, use hands to operate a computer and speak or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
