To ensure quality standards are maintained through inspection of complex components from vendor, internal and non OEM customers.
Facilitate and assist in departmental continual improvement activities.
Understand and apply customer specifications and/or internal standards as applicable.
Review and compile Material Discrepancy inspection reports as required.
Support the business in meeting delivery targets.
Maintain strong working relationships with key departments across the business.
Follow company health and safety policies at all times.
Reviewing and approving CofC documentation for product dispatch.
Desired Characteristics
Experience in a similar role, ideally in the aerospace or defense industry.
Ability to communicate well at all levels, be self-motivated, professional in approach, with a can-do attitude.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to make informed decisions.
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office package and ERP systems
Proven track record in problem solving.
Comfortable working alone and as part of a team across 2 shifts.
Required Qualifications
Must have served a recognised engineering apprenticeship.
Ability to inspect material and supporting documentation to ensure that material received meets the required standard.
Ability to make decisions based on what is presented from suppliers and separate the facts clearly and concisely.
Ideally has exposure to SAP but on the job training will be given
