Summary:
Perform aircraft modifications and maintenance, including airframe, landing gear, engine, electrical components, and control systems installations.
Ensure work complies with procedures, performance, and test specifications.
Provide work direction to technicians and act on behalf of the Mechanical Team Lead (MTL) as needed.
Coordinate with inspection and other departments to ensure quality and compliance.
Required Skills:
High School Diploma or GED.
FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate.
4 years of aviation maintenance experience, with 3 years on mid/large-size aircraft.
Valid Drivers License.
Ability to perform maintenance tasks within quoted or standard times.
Experience operating ground support and special equipment for component removal and installation.
Desired Skills:
Corporate aircraft maintenance experience.
Advanced knowledge of inspection and maintenance procedures across various aircraft models.
Familiarity with FAA regulations, maintenance manuals, IPCs, Service Bulletins, and engineering drawings.
Experience with Lean/continuous improvement processes.
Ability to train new employees on maintenance procedures and systems.
Strong understanding of English language for technical documentation.
