Job Description

Perform modifications and heavy maintenance on King Air and DHC8 aircraft.

Responsibilities

  • Shoot and buck rivets to specifications.
  • Recognize differences in types of metals including structural strength and thickness.
  • Perform sheet metal bends to guidelines and specifications as dictated in normal aviation practices.
  • Remove existing rivets from aircraft structure.
  • Build components for aircraft applications using a variety of sheet metal materials.
  • Perform repairs to the aircraft and determine which repairs can or cannot be made.
  • Read blueprints to ensure build and modification completion, follow both written and verbal instructions.

Work Environment

Individuals will be working in a hangar environment and will be part of an MRO type setting. The company has several heavy maintenance and modification projects. Employees will work off the production schedule, including work cards, and must complete tasks within designated time frames. Typical schedule: Monday-Friday (4/10 hour shifts), with shifts from Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday starting at 6:30 AM.
