Job Title: Sheet Metal TechnicianJob Description
Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal products and equipment for general aviation aircraft. Work involves setting up and operating fabricating machines to cut, bend, and straighten sheet metal; shaping metal over anvils, blocks, or forms using a hammer; operating soldering and welding equipment to join sheet metal parts; and inspecting, assembling, and smoothing seams and joints of burred surfaces.
Responsibilities:
- Lay out sheet metal parts using blueprints, drawings, written or verbal instructions.
- Alter existing parts using blueprints, drawings, written or verbal instructions.
- Rivet and sheet metal component removal.
- Bend and form a radius on fabricated sheet metal parts.
- Drill various metals.
- Debur holes and cut lines.
- Set up for and countersink holes.
- Set up for and dimple holes.
- Set up for and install solid rivets with a rivet gun.
- Set up for and install solid rivets with a squeeze tool.
- Install blind rivets and fasteners.

This is a fully on-site position in Tampa, Florida.
Work Environment
Start time 07:30am until 4:00pm with two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch. Approximately 10 hours of overtime available weekly.
