Fabricates and installs a variety of sheet metal such as ductwork, venting systems, main engine exhaust, metal containers, and instrumentation panels. Plan and lay out work from blueprints, and drawings, work for standard and metric specifications and other specifications, using shop mathematics. Candidate must have the ability to pass a skill assessment test.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Requires a minimum of four (4) years of sheetmetal experience or related craft experience in joiner, shipfitting, and/or carpentry, ability to set up and operate a variety of sheetmetal machines such as brakes and shears.
A skill assessment will be a written and hands-on test.
EDUCATION:
High School diploma or equivalent. School must be accredited.
HOURS:
- 5/40, workweek.
- 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift.
