Job Description SummaryThis is a Staff Engineer role in ATO Mechanical analysis team, supporting Mechanical analysis for Rotor components. Activities aimed to validate the concepts through analysis using finite element methods. This role has ownership of analysis deliverables along with a strong focus on planning and simplification of analysis activities within Rotors module covered by standard practices. This person will be responsible to help develop program plans. It also allows to build a wider perspective and increase Systems thinking.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead/ Execute all the analysis for RISE Rotors.
- Demonstrate in-depth technical expertise & system level thinking to meet design CTQs for Rotors module. Has awareness of latest technical developments in own area.
- Strong project management skills including cross-functional coordination of activities, influencing skills and conflict management.
- Continuously track & communicate project status and progress with stakeholders.
- Lead/ participate problem solving including TOPS8D, analysis simplifications on MS (Mechanical systems) components.
- Lead/ participate in TG9 reviews, design reviews, tech reviews.
- Establish strong connections with Commodity CTHs, contribute to analysis tech community and analysis process improvements & implement the lean operating rhythm.
- Ability to mentor/guide engineers along with own deliverables and program management skills.
- Foster and inspire a collaborative work style and display team-oriented behavior with a proactive example of communication with the team and stakeholders.
- Meet all the deliverables within targeted cost & schedule with FTY & OTD 100
- Understanding of Cross Functional perspectives and ability to influence and deliver right solutions.
- Ability to manage priority tradeoffs to optimize program deliveries.
Qualifications/Requirements
- PhD / MTech / MS / BE from an accredited university or college in Mechanical, Aerospace, Structural Engineering.
- Minimum of 8+ years of progressive engineering work experience in Mechanical analysis design of Aviation Engines or Turbo machinery components.
- Strong Analysis skills, Risk Abatement and Problem Solving through analysis optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results while working on multiple projects simultaneously, balancing timing and quality of outcomes.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization both with the team and stakeholders.
