Summary:
As the structure mechanic, you’ll collaborate with a dynamic team of skilled technicians and specialists responsible for the mechanical maintenance and repair of various commercial aircraft while maintaining state-of-the-art equipment. Your technical expertise will be instrumental in maintaining the effectiveness and reliability of our customers Aircraft while remaining in compliance with all F.A.A. policies and regulations. Remove, clean, service, and replace various aircraft components with the use of special tooling and ground support equipment following oral and written instructions such as supervisor’s directives and manuals to complete all routine and non-routine assignments on time.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Remove and replace aircraft components with special tooling following verbal and written instructions such as Crew Chief and Lead directives and manuals to complete all routine and non-routine assignments on time.
- Perform the duties of and provide the necessary training for lower skill levels.
- Maintain and store tools in a serviceable condition.
- Adhere to safe maintenance practices and keep a clean work area.
- Successfully complete any courses deemed necessary by the Training Department.
- Perform any work that your Crew Chief or Lead may assign.
Job Qualifications:
Experience:
- Three(3) years minimum experience in commercial aircraft heavy maintenance
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required
- An FAA Airframe is required.
