Description
Structures Mechanic
Aerotek is seeking to hire Aircraft Mechanic, Avionics Technicians, and Structures Mechanics for a long-term, full-time role modifying, repairing, and maintaining military aircraft.
Each of the General Mechanics, Avionics Technicians, and Structures Mechanics will perform tasks supporting the installation of modifications and upgrades (related to offensive systems upgrades and weight reduction) on military jet aircraft, including the following:
• Reading blueprints and drawings
• Following task cards and manuals
• Removing, repairing, modifying, and installing structural, electrical, rigging and other systems
• Utilizing hand and power tools
• Leveraging knowledge of military aircraft systems and structures

4+ years of depot/heavy maintenance experience on aircraft structures
F-18 / EA-18G experience highly preferred
Must have experience reaming and stepping up holes
Must be eligible for access badge
Must be eligible for SECRET clearance
Must be eligible for Boeing badge (no terminations on record with Boeing)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oak Harbor, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $37.00/hr.
