Job Description

Our team is seeking a skilled Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic to work on a Piper PA-42 Cheyenne for a 4-6 month contract. Candidates will be responsible for sheet metal fabrication, assembly, installations, and modifications. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7am to 4:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Perform sheet metal fabrication, assembly, installations, and modifications on aircraft.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Utilize hand and power tools for various tasks.
• Conduct structural modifications on aircraft.
• Ensure all tools are etched and inventoried.

• 3+ years of experience in Aircraft Sheet Metal/Structures.
• Proficiency in sheet metal fabrication, assembly, installation, and modification.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience with various types of aircraft sheet metal work.
• Possession of own tools, etched and inventoried.

• Experience with structural modifications, aircraft assembly, and rivet work.
• Familiarity with MRO, Repair Stations, P145, P121, commercial aircraft, regional jets, helicopters, and corporate jets.

This position offers the opportunity to gain experience with corporate jets and general aviation, work in a P145 repair station, and benefit from overtime opportunities. The long-term contract provides stability and the chance to work on a variety of aircraft.

Work Environment

The work is conducted in a hangar and outside environment. Employees should be prepared to handle varying conditions while adhering to safety protocols.
