Aircraft Sheet Metal MechanicJob Description
Our team is seeking a skilled Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic to work on a Piper PA-42 Cheyenne for a 4-6 month contract. Candidates will be responsible for sheet metal fabrication, assembly, installations, and modifications. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7am to 4:30pm.
Responsibilities
- Perform sheet metal fabrication, assembly, installations, and modifications on aircraft.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Utilize hand and power tools for various tasks.
- Conduct structural modifications on aircraft.
- Ensure all tools are etched and inventoried.
Essential Skills- 3+ years of experience in Aircraft Sheet Metal/Structures.
- Proficiency in sheet metal fabrication, assembly, installation, and modification.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience with various types of aircraft sheet metal work.
- Possession of own tools, etched and inventoried.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience with structural modifications, aircraft assembly, and rivet work.
- Familiarity with MRO, Repair Stations, P145, P121, commercial aircraft, regional jets, helicopters, and corporate jets.
