Field Service TechnicianJob Description- This position is responsible for supporting security screening equipment primarily at the Minneapolis-Saint Paul Airport.
- The Field Service Technician will troubleshoot, service, install, and repair various types of security screening equipment.
- They will interact with TSA on a daily basis and must maintain a detailed field service log and filing system.
- This role requires strong initiative and dedication to consistently exceed customer and company requirements.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot, service, install, and repair Trace, Whole Body Imager, X-ray, CT X-ray, and other security screening equipment.
- Perform both preventative and corrective maintenance.
- Perform equipment upgrades as needed.
- Interact with TSA on a daily basis.
- Check schedule to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Maintain field service log and filing system to properly initiate, organize, and maintain all field service and job files until work is complete.
- Demonstrate strong initiative and dedication through effective use of downtime and a willingness to consistently exceed customer and company requirements.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Basic electronics repair knowledge.
Work Environment- Candidates will be primarily working in the Airport - Bag room, which may require working in small or tight areas.
- The schedule will be determined by when the equipment can be worked on for preventative maintenance and the urgency of corrective maintenance.
- Candidates need to be flexible with on-call requirements to meet customer needs.
- Overtime may be required.
