Test Technician

Contract Position

Responsibilities:
- Perform duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and optical areas, including constructing, troubleshooting, calibrating, and testing equipment and systems.
- Work from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions to operate equipment, conduct tests, and report data.
- Perform calibration, alignment checks, and modifications, and prepare necessary compounds and solutions.
- Fabricate complex electronics with small tolerances, ensuring Quality Inspection throughout the fabrication process.
Qualifications:
- Associates in Engineering, applicable Associate’s Science degree, or Airframe Powerplant Certification.
- 4 years of experience in one location for in-depth knowledge acquisition.
- Certifications:
- IPC-A-610 and IPC J-STD-001 certifications preferred.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance (required).
- Skills:
- Experience with hand-held multimeters, oscilloscopes, bench-top power supplies, and hand crimping tools.
- Familiarity with military specification parts and tools for class 3 electronics fabrication.
- Additional Requirements: A completed and passed eye examination is required for this role.
