OnsiteThis position is for an Engineering Services and Support technician who is under general supervision. Performs basic to moderately complex technical tasks which contribute to the planning and execution of engineering projects. Collaborates with higher level support staff to confer with engineers on details and implications of test procedures and results. May assist in orienting, training, and assigning work of technical/business support employees.
What you will do:
Perform research and engineering laboratory functions involving the layout, building, testing, troubleshooting, repairing and modification of electronic or electro-mechanical devices, assemblies, subsystems, and systems.
Possess a working knowledge of standard test equipment, oscilloscopes, ohmmeters, signal generators, spectrum analyzers etc., as well as a working knowledge of custom-made test equipment including automatic test equipment.
Plan and execute experiments and gather, maintain, format, compile, and manipulate technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes to support engineering disciplines
Analyzes circuitry and physically checks wiring and operation of various electronic parts, units, and systems components necessary to locate malfunction causes found during testing of components, equipment, or systems.

Be comfortable using tools and equipment in a hands-on lab environment including mills, saws, grinders, digital multi meters, power supplies
Familiar in the use and maintenance of environmental chambers, tensile testers, NI equipment, and custom electromechanical test stands

The salary range for this role is 36,000 USD - 72,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
