Position Summary

MAG Aerospace is hiring for a UH-60 Senior Aviation Maintenance Advisor (SAMA) to support a contract we are bidding on concerning a US Army’s Security Assistance Training Management Organization (USA-SATMO) training team’s support to the Lithuanian Air Force (LTU AF).

The overall team will be comprised of both Pilots and Maintenance subject matter experts with a tentative timeline for action on this program of mid-May 2025 with multiple option years to follow on.

The work location is primarily at Siauliai Airbase, with potential alternate Lithuanian locations.

All Infrastructure concerning living (apartment, cars, flights etc) will be provided by MAG Aerospace and is currently being developed

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Conduct aviation management and coordination of maintenance efforts within the UH-60M company and will focus on the skills of a U.S. Army 15T UH-60M Utility Helicopter Repairer.
  • Conduct training including classroom academics, hands-on demonstration and over the shoulder maintenance training of LTU AF in the management of the maintenance flow chart, aircraft bank hour tracker, scheduled and un-scheduled maintenance, parts ordering, production and quality control operations, and may be designated to perform Technical Inspector duties.
  • Train LTU AF with establishing/maintaining a program to provide routine and historical maintenance documents for all Aviation Ground Support Equipment (AGSE) and assist in monitoring, collecting, and submitting lubricants samples IAW the Army’s Oil Analysis Program.
Requirements

Minimum Requirements

Certifications/Qualifications/Experience:

  • Served in the U.S. Military.
  • Must have Ten (10) years of experience of overall experience supervising helicopter maintenance programs.
  • Must have, at least, seven (7) years of experience performing or supervising UH-60M maintenance requiring the skills of a 15T.
  • Must have five (5) years of previous experience as an UH-60M Technical Inspector or Quality Control Officer.
  • Must have UH-60A/M unit Production Control and Quality Control experience.

Education:

  • Graduate of a U.S. Army UH-60 Aircraft Repairer (MOS 15T)
  • Security Clearance:
  • Secret clearance (able to obtain a secret clearance)

Other Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizen
  • Must possess or be capable of obtaining a U.S. Passport.
  • Must possess or be capable of obtaining a Lithuanian Visa.

Must provide proof of the following:

  • Military Service, (DD Form 214).
  • Possible other service / UH60M maintenance related certifications

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $100,000 to $200,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAGs total compensation package for employees.
