Definition VIEThe Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function. We are looking for highly motivated graduates aged 18 to 28 years, who are citizens of the European Union (all E.U. nationals, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). Your tasks and responsibilitiesHydraulic- and flight control systems development and/or Water systems development of single parts and assemblies that are optimized in terms of weight, cost, performance, production/assembly requirements.
Collaboration with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Customer Representatives and Design Specialists from other disciplines to provide the appropriate integrated design solutions.
Application of the change management process of Airbus
Checking of design solutions & drawings
Support the digital transformation in the team
Desired skills and qualificationsAcademic degree in mechanical engineering or similar
Mechanical engineering background with practical experience in construction with CAD tools (preferred CATIA V5)
First Project Management skills
Experience in international collaboration is a plus
Fluent in English and good knowledge in German
