Wax Assembly (Swing)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Wax Assembler to join our team. The Wax Assembler is responsible for assembling intricate wax components on to a wax mold "tree" structure using heated knives and wax welding techniques. This mold will later be utilized in the investment casting process. The ideal candidate has excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to producing high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble small, intricate wax components and securely attach them to the wax tree.
- Utilize heated knives and wax welding tools to create precise and durable connections.
- Inspect wax parts and assemblies to ensure they meet quality and design specifications.
- Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and diagrams for proper assembly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety and cleanliness standards.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve any issues in the assembly process.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance to ensure proper function and safe operation.
- Document work performed and update records as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in manufacturing or assembly is a plus.
- Previous experience in wax assembly, welding, or investment casting is preferred but not required.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small parts.
- Ability to use and maintain heated tools safely and effectively.
- Keen attention to detail with a focus on quality and precision.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while performing repetitive tasks.
- Good hand strength and fine motor skills for manipulating small parts.
- Comfortable working with heated tools and materials in a controlled environment.
- Ability to lift up to 35lbs
