The 5th Generation Depot Operations Manager is responsible for execution support of the F-35 and F-22 Depots for Aeronautics Field Sustainment (AFS), located in Layton, Utah.

Responsibilities include:
• Lead and manage Lockheed Martin teammates embedded with product support providers (PSP) at six regional and military service depots in addition to future national air vehicle depots.

• Integrate operations excellence and sustainment management system processes into partner and PSP workforce and systems. Engage Corrective Action (CA) and Continuous Improvement (CI) teams to establish and implement performance improvements.

• Partner fully with AFS, Aero Sustainment, and Program Management leadership to ensure all staffing, schedule objectives, and actions are consistent with company objectives and commitments.

• Assist partners and PSPs to achieve operational excellence through constraint management and escalation and assess impacts as they arise.

• Serves as the primary Lockheed Martin consultant to F-35 and F-22 depot teams and acts as a liaison to Sustainment stakeholders.

• Must be a US Citizen. This position requires an active Secret Security Clearance and the ability to gain special access.

Basic Qualifications:
The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:

• Experience executing and managing major aircraft modification and/or production, acceptance flight operations, flight test operations, and delivery to the customer.

• Knowledge and experience managing a MUO or production facility including operations management, manufacturing techniques, metrics, ground and flight operations environment (Induction thru Delivery) with the ability to develop guidelines and communicate current Lockheed Martin MUO and/or production best practices.

• Experience in fighter aircraft maintenance/modifications at the depot level to include Time Compliance Technical Order/Directive (TCTO/D) implementation.

• Experience in operations management and engineering processes and considered an expert in these fields.

• Experience coordinating depot level MUO activity with a diverse team of partners, contractors and end users.

• Experience managing domestic and international vendors/suppliers, demonstrated ability to work with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), Government Ground Representatives (GGR), and Government Flight Representatives (GFR).

• Experience in leading and managing multifunctional teams, able to work independently setting a team vision.

• Experience speaking, writing and listening in a manner that clarifies issues, promotes closure and delivers information in a clear and concise manner while demonstrating full spectrum leadership and Culture of Accountability (CoA).

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
