Job Description SummaryAs the Additive Technology Center (ATC) Plant Leader, you will be at the forefront of managing GE Aerospace’s development of additive manufacturing capabilities. You will have business leadership for the manufacturing facility that has 150 employees and is inclusive of overseeing critical functions such as compliance, environmental health, and safety (EHS), security, production, manufacturing engineering, maintenance, and quality assurance. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that plant execution consistently meets or exceeds performance targets in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. Additionally, you will drive the successful completion of planned technology and process industrialization milestones, while continuously improving existing operations through the application of Lean.Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
- Oversee every function of the ATC, promoting a Safety-First culture and ensuring compliance with applicable GE Aerospace policies.
- Drive lasting operational efficiencies through the application of Lean, including Standard Work, Daily Management, and Problem Solving.
- Develop, stretch, and promote talent within the site and across the Supply Chain Division.
- Continuously improve the employee experience through robust Inclusion & Diversity (I&D), employee engagement, and culture survey responsiveness programs.
Operational Excellence:
- Ensure that plant execution meets or exceeds performance targets in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
- A key focus will be developing and promoting a Safety-First culture, demonstrating leadership commitment, engaging employees, and implementing stop-work practices when necessary.
- Drive the successful and timely completion of all planned technology and process industrialization milestones (Technology Readiness Level, TRL and Manufacturing Readiness Levels, MRL).
- Partner with the Additive IPT Transition Leader to transition hardware to high rate production facilities in the US and Italy once acceptable process capability has been established at the ATC (MRL 6+, single digit DPU, etc.).
Quality Assurance:
- Guarantee that all shipped hardware fully conforms to applicable drawing requirements, specifications, and standards.
- Establish and enforce rigorous quality control standards to ensure the production of high-quality additive manufacturing products.
- Maintain compliance with operational and financial transactions in accordance with GE Aerospace policies.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field from accredited college or university
- Minimum of 5 years of applicable experience in operations and/or supply chain management

- Masters or advanced degree from an accredited educational institution
- Supply Chain Management degree
