Airbus China R&D Centre Introduction:

The Airbus China R&D Centre is located in Suzhou, China. It will carry out R&D activities focusing on the key technologies in the digital era, and merge the new trends of information technology and the manufacturing & services business in Aerospace to provide R&D and innovation services for Airbus globally in hydrogen infrastructure, advanced manufacturing, electrification, sustainable cabin and future new technologies. It will lead the transformation and upgrading the Aerospace industry with digitalization and intelligence.

Accountabilities:
  • Focus on manufacturing innovation products and contribute to Airbus sustainability commitments and follow the journey towards clean aerospace

  • Define manufacturing innovation products along the entire product life cycle with full accountability for fulfilment of quality standards.

  • Develop product management tools for projects execution

Main activities:
  • Product strategy

  • Develop and execute product strategy aligned with manufacturing innovation goals and customer needs

  • Product research

  • Research to identify opportunities, assess competition, and gather insights to inform product decisions.

  • Product Roadmap

  • Define and maintain the product roadmap, prioritising features and enhancements based on business impact and customer feedback.

  • Requirements Gathering

  • Work closely with PM and stakeholders to gather and prioritise product requirements, ensuring clear and detailed specifications for development teams.

  • Products Development

  • Collaborate with teams throughout the development process, providing guidance and feedback to ensure products meet quality standards and timelines.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including financial, procurement, software team, and implementation team, to ensure alignment and collaboration across departments

Outputs:
  • Detailed products analysis reports outlining opportunities and threats, informing products deciduous

  • Detailed products roadmap with prioritised features and enhancements

  • Detailed products requirement documents ensuring clear specifications for development

  • Successful product launches delivered on time and within budget

  • Effective plans driving product adoption and customer satisfaction

  • Performance monitoring reports with actionable insights for product optimization

  • Effective cross-team collaboration to successful product development and launches

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor&39;s degree in engineering, product development or a related field. Familiar with software and hardware product development process methods, such as waterfall model, agile, etc.

  • Over 5 years in product management, preferably in the manufacturing industry or NPDP qualified.

  • Strong understanding of technologies of electronics, automation, computer version,informatization&xff0c; with the ability to translate technical concepts into customer value.

  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products throughout their lifecycle.

  • Experience working on documentation for products definition 

  • Soft Skills:Excellent communication, Innovative thinking and acting, result-orientation, ownership and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive consensus.

  • Language Skills: Fluent in written and spoken Chinese and English
