Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to ensure component repairs and maintenance are in compliance with industry standards and regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating schedules, generating work orders, directing work, solving problems, and maintaining documentation. This role includes assisting with heavy checks, conducting inspections, troubleshooting aircraft systems to identify and resolve issues, and maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed. The Maintenance Supervisor will work closely with the team to ensure the timely and efficient completion of tasks and support mobile repair operations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure component repairs and maintenance comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Create and manage schedules for maintenance tasks.
• Generate and manage work orders.
• Direct and supervise work performed by the team.
• Solve problems and troubleshoot aircraft systems.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of maintenance and repairs.
• Assist with heavy checks and inspections.
• Conduct inspections and troubleshoot aircraft systems to identify and resolve issues.
• Support mobile repair operations as needed.

• Experience in aircraft maintenance and component repair, with a specific emphasis on the Q400.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and technical documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality.
• 5 years of supervisory or lead experience in aircraft maintenance.
• M2 certification.

• Endorsements, specifically on the Q400, are a bonus.
• Own tools required.
• Experience in installation and supervisory skills.

Work Environment

The Maintenance Supervisor position is based in Barrie, Ontario. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team and play a key role in operations with many direct reports, helping run the hangar and manage work orders. This is a hands-on supervisory role that involves performing maintenance and repairs on a variety of aircraft as needed.

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $58.00
