Job Title: Avionics Repair Supervisor
Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for effectively troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and servicing avionics and electrical systems on corporate and privately owned general aviation aircraft without constant direct supervision. The role also requires completing all checklists, forms, and reports as required in accordance with company, government, and FAA regulations, as well as following all safety rules and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, install, and service avionics and electrical systems on general aviation aircraft.
- Complete all required checklists, forms, and reports in compliance with company, government, and FAA regulations.
- Understand and follow the repair facilitys manuals.
- Adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
Essential Skills- Minimum 6 years of experience in line maintenance or installation/upgrade on General Aviation/Corporate aircraft.
- Experience with systems such as pitot/static, EFIS, FMS, GPS, communication, navigation, and WiFi.
- Cessna Citation and King Air experience.
- Aircraft wiring and termination experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have own tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Autopilot knowledge is a plus.
- A&P License is a plus.
- Previous Repairman Certificate is a plus.
- FCC General Radiotelephone License is a plus.
- Understanding of aircraft component repair.
- Knowledge of avionics test equipment such as IFR 6000, IFR 400, Laversab 6300.
