We’re looking for a Business Continuity Manager to be based in our Stevenage Office.

As a proven Business Continuity professional you will have practical experience of delivering elements of a Business Continuity Program. This will include building and developing plans and providing business impact analysis, exercise and testing of scenarios as well as developing and implementing training and awareness programs.

LOCATION: Stevenage

SECURITY CLEARANCE: UKSV Security Check (SC)

TRAVEL REQUIRED: Occasional UK travel

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM 

  • Deliver completion of country BCM documentation - Business Impact Assessments, Business Continuity Plans etc.
  • Engage with functional areas across the country to deliver BCM
  • Develop and deliver country training & exercising programme for BCM capability, across all functional areas in-country, including leadership
  • Develop BCM solutions for bid submissions and upcoming programmes & projects
  • Attain and maintain BCM Certification - ISO 22301
  • Support Head of Country BCM and site level management during BCM incident response
  • Participate in, or facilitate debrief session & deliver debrief report
  • Maintain BCM continuous learning activities database
  • Deliver internal assurance of BCM, and participate in peer review for other country BCM
  • Attend relevant in-country Steering Co/Working Groups for associated disciplines (risk management etc)
  • Deliver Country wide communication and engagement for the BCM programme
  • Support Head of Country with any other BCM related activities as required

ABOUT YOU – Your Skills

  • An understanding of the Good Practice Guidelines framework

  • Previous experience of Business Continuity planning 

  • Historical knowledge and experience of ISO audit requirements

  • Experience of conducting and leading Business Impact Analysis (BIAs)

  • Proven project management experience

  • Risk management knowledge and experience using risk management concepts and methodologies

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with proven experience of achieving results on time, on cost, on quality

  • Ability to engage effectively with employees, partners, stakeholders and customers
