Job Title: CVG Line Maintenance Supervisor (A&P)
Department: 145 Line Maintenance
Reports To: 145 Line Maintenance Manager
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Supervisor shall report to his/her respective assigned Manager and is responsible for:
1. Leading and directing personnel under his/her supervision.
2. Evaluating the performance of assigned personnel.
3. Ensuring maintenance performed under his/her supervision shall meet the highest quality standard and is performed in a timely manner.
4. Coordinating daily crew activity with the respective Manager and/or Maintenance Manager.
5. On-the-job training and technical supervision of assigned personnel.
6. Ensuring that all Repair Station Manual procedures and Federal Aviation Regulations applicable to the respective function are complied with.
7. Setting up work assignments and providing a daily pass down of information.
8. Ensuring accuracy of mechanics sign-offs.
9. Assisting the Manager with his/her duties.
10. Controlling all paperwork, work cards, non-routines, etc., associated with a project.
11. Ensuring that all work cards are being issued in proper flow and sequence.
12. Advising Manager of any problems affecting project budget, schedule, paperwork, etc.
13. Working closely with, Leads, Quality Control, Planning, and researchers to ensure that the project is worked efficiently.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; some college and/or technical school desirable
- Must have a Current Valid Driver’s License
- Must have a current valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant License.
- 2 years (minimum) of experience supervising work on one or more of the following aircraft in a line maintenance environment: B727, B737, and/or B777.
- Must be a US Citizen
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to read, write and understand spoken and written English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to give verbal and written direction to assigned staff.
