Role Introduction
Reports to: Head of Cargo Global Partnerships
You will be part of the Cargo Global Partnerships leadership team within the broader Cargo Commercial team, focusing on strategic collaboration.
As a Cargo Global Partnerships Manager, your goal will be to drive the Global Partnership strategy aimed at maximizing value for the organization. You will be responsible for identifying and nurturing key partnerships that enhance revenue and operational effectiveness.
In this role, you will gain expertise in strategic partnership development and learn how to create value-driven relationships that contribute significantly to the organizations success.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Head of Cargo Global Partnerships to drive and implement the Global Partnerships strategy for optimal value generation
- Contribute to revenue growth from assigned Global Partners while enhancing collaborations with the global commercial team
- Manage the contracting cycle for Global Partners, including preparation, negotiation, and execution
- Ensure alignment across various functions, such as bookings and service delivery, to support Global Partnership development
- Serve as a key account manager for strategic partners, overseeing overall relationship and operational management
- Identify and develop charter opportunities throughout the year with strategic partners and regional sales leads
- Engage in business development with potential partners to enhance their strategic importance to the organization
- Promote data usage to support scalable, insight-driven development of global partnerships
- Act as a subject matter expert on initiatives involving global partnerships
- Lead and mentor one direct report, fostering their growth in the global partnerships field and ensuring positive engagement
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a supervisory role
- Bachelor’s degree in an analytical field, such as business, science, or engineering; post-graduate qualification preferred
- Strong strategic development skills with the ability to connect commercial and technical aspects
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for effective stakeholder engagement
- Proven leadership abilities with a collaborative team-oriented mindset
- Capacity to build consensus across cross-functional teams
- Strong research and benchspaning skills, including spanet research and competitive analysis
- Analytical mindset with comfort in working with numbers
- Curiosity to explore the narratives behind data and drive improvements
- Ability to translate insights into actionable strategies
