Description:The Combat Systems (CS) Operations Senior Manager reports directly to the Vice President of Combat Systems and is responsible for enabling the CS directorates to execute effectively and efficiently.
This Senior Manager will lead a centralized CS Ops team and coordinate with representatives from each of the directorates to manage the following:
• Overhead budget management
• Discretionary budget management (NBF, IT, capital)
• Workforce development
• Staffing
• Technical metrics collection and review
• Command media administration, including documentation of standard processes
• Maintaining the CS Business Rhythm of weekly, monthly and quarterly reviews, deliverables and reporting
• Managing Digital Transformation, Horizon, 1LMX and Best in 3 execution and reporting
• Driving CARs/iCARs, Root Cause and Corrective Action and other process improvement initiatives to closure
• Other projects as assigned.
The Leader will also coordinate/facilitate special projects, strategy discussions and other team events/visits as requested by the VP of Combat Systems.

Basic Qualifications:
• Functional or program engineering experience
• Increasing levels of leadership experience managing diverse work scopes
• Experience interacting with all levels within the organization from individual contributor to executives
• Metrics and data analytics understanding
• Project Engineering
• Bachelors degree in engineering from an accredited college/university

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
