Job Description Summary- Responsible for all Rotorcraft P&L proposals for the commercial finance/Risk function.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Works to design standards in deal modeling & underwriting for the MSO team
- Validates bid risk and reward balance (e.g. terms and conditions, technical requirements, manufacturing cycle times, margin, security of payment, and optimization of cash flow). Partners with functional experts in sales, project, controllership, tax, legal, & treasury to ensure compliant deal structuring.
- Participate and help drive work streams involved with the strategic planning process
- Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise within their discipline. Requires strong commercial awareness, ability to learn government pricing requirements and is expected to influence the development of strategy within Combat Engines area, including control of resources and influences policy formulation.
- May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others options on particular topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view.
- Responsible to develop innovative solutions to deliver Customer outcomes and drive growth while managing company risk/reward. Impacts the teams ability to achieve service, quality and timeliness of objectives. Regularly advises management related to deal strategy. Has a supportive role in decision making about as it relates to commercial activities. High levels of evaluative judgment are required to achieve outcomes required.
- Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems that impact the function. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a deal related decisions.
- Proven interpersonal skills. Communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination of projects. Able to provide informal guidance to new team members and explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within our field.
Required Qualifications

- Prior experience in customer facing processes
- Prior experience as a commercial/risk analyst
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
