The selected candidate will join the LMA Classified Cybersecurity Team as a COMSEC Custodian/Manager on-site at Palmdale, California. They will:
• Enforce proper receipt, transfer, accountability, safeguarding, and destruction of keying material/equipment in accordance with National Security Agency (NSA) Central Security Service Policy Manual No. 3-16 and related COMSEC derivatives.
• Conduct secure equipment (e.g., secure telephone and encryption devices) and classified keying material inventories, inspections, troubleshooting, and other COMSEC related support and oversight functions.
• Conduct all COMSEC related investigations and comply with security procedures.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and provide problem resolution i.e. balancing customer demands with COMSEC compliance.
• Possess detailed knowledge in cryptographic techniques including use of Key Management Infrastructure (KMI), crypto key generation and distribution.
• Train personnel in COMSEC procedures and the use of related equipment.
• Perform courier duties for COMSEC material and equipment.
• Publicize and maintain security directives, policies and procedures.
• Perform other associated duties as required e.g. provide support to other off-site locations.

Basic Qualifications:
• U.S. Citizenship.
• Active Top Secret (TS) Clearance with an investigation or Continuous Vetting (CV) date within 5 years
• Possess a minimum of 3 years experience as a NSA COMSEC Account Manager/Alternate Manager of a DoD account
• Must have a strong understanding of COMSEC equipment, operations, accountability, and procedures e.g. troubleshooting on COMSEC devices, inventory, inspections, loading keys, etc.
Desired Skills:
• Prior Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) experience.
• Experience supporting Special Access Programs (SAP) security environments.
• Experience with training users/COMSEC Responsible Officers (CRO)s.
• Experience with Distributed INFOSEC Accounting System (DIAS)
• Ability to juggle the demands of multiple diverse customers while formulating & driving security direction.
• Ability to work in a team environment, demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities, be well organized, flexible, and self-motivated.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $85,900 - $164,600. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as spanet and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $98,800 - $186,100. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as spanet and business considerations when extending an offer.
