JOB SUMMARY:
The Content Project Manager will serve as project manager and scheduler for the development and execution of all global content initiatives on communications channels. This position will be responsible for creating and maintaining a centralized Communications editorial calendar, leading the Communications content project intake process, and serve as a team and vendor liaison to ensure efficient and effective content creation.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Develop, populate, track and improve a centralized Communications editorial calendar to ensure strategic content alignment and prioritization across the function.
· Regularly analyze the big picture of content to identify deviation from, or areas for improvement in, content strategy.
· Lead the Communications Content intake process to drive efficient and effective projects.
· Prioritize the most high-value content initiatives and ensure every deliverable aligns to the content strategy.
· Identify content planning and production process weaknesses, enabling continuous efficiency improvements.
· Collaborate across teams to break down content planning and production silos in the function.
· Coordinate content creators to ensure alignment to content strategy, task clarity, work efficiency, and consistency of content.
· Take into account competing and changing priorities, resources, and time demands to develop, adapt, and execute content plans that are realistic and achievable.
· Identify possible project management roadblocks and develop and implement workable solutions.
· Develop after-action project reviews to report to senior Communications team.
· Serve as Communications vendor liaison to request project estimates, project manage work, and ensure invoice receipt and processing.
· Develop and sustain processes to continually improve the efficiency of the communications function and channels, including measuring impact of the Content & Engagement team.
