Essential Responsibilities
The Contract Compliance Lead will provide a lead role in implementing and maintaining the new contract framework for GE Marine’s In-Service Support Contract (ISSC) to the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) fleet of LM2500 gas turbines. The Contract Compliance Lead will provide financial and administrative support, reporting to the Program Manager. The successful candidate should possess a keen eye for detail, a positive “can-do” attitude, excellent organizational and communication skills.
To meet these challenges, the Contract Compliance Lead will be responsible for:
- Commercial - Drafting, revising, and maintaining contract documents, which includes preparing documents for customer review in line with ASDEFCON standards, negotiate final status and facilitate submission to the Commonwealth of contract CDRLs (Contract Data Requirement List), contract change proposals.
- Financial - Track and model impact of any future CCPs (Contract Change Proposal) including financial impact of incorporating these into the program financial baseline, long range plans and cost model. Manage and monitor financial inputs from other parts of the business and ensure they meet internal financial and customer invoicing/reporting requirements.
- Compliance - Analyse, monitor and advise on compliance with contractual obligations, including revisions to existing contracts. Prepare contract changes in form of CCP.
- People - maintain close working relationships with the direct peers and the wider Matrix Organisation. Engage and develop a professional relationship with all internal stakeholders such as Finance, and external with the customer.
- Innovation - seek solutions to improve the services delivery and identify opportunities within contract administration and operation. Support process improvements and initiatives that impact the operations and infrastructures in place.
Qualification / Requirement
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent related experience
- Established Project Management Skills
- Finance / accounting knowledge
- Experience with contract management
- Attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Possession of a Commonwealth of Australia NV1 Security Clearance or the ability to obtain such a clearance is a mandatory requirement for this role. Australian Citizen.
