SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Thorough knowledge of U.S. Government export regulations (ITAR, EARs, OFAC) is required.
- Knowledge of U.S. Government Contract laws, regulations and processes (FAR, DFARs, UCC, & common law contract formation) is required.
- Familiarity with BATFE regulations is required.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail is required.
- Ability to influence across functions and interact with individuals at all levels.
- Strong organizational and work management skills required.
- Ability to achieve results through supervision and management of subordinates.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and assess legal risk and compliance issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook skills required.
- The ability to understand and follow instructions and the ability to concentrate is required.
- Excellent written, verbal, communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to get along with others and to be part of a team.
- Ability to access Export Control and other regulatory information.
- Regular attendance at the worksite.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university and 4 years work-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
