- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; or an equivalent combination of education and experience to include a minimum of fifteen (15) years of aviation experience on different types of wide-body aircraft with 10 or more years as a Chief Inspector or Quality Supervisor on projects involving heavy maintenance, modifications, and repairs.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Ability and knowledge to use a computer and related technology effectively.
- Ability to manage priorities to meet deadlines in a demanding environment.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
This position requires a current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Power Plant (A&P) license, and an Inspection Authorization (IA).
A secret government clearance, and/or favorable personal background check, and/or a National Agency Check (NAC) are required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages subordinate supervisors in the Quality Assurance Department. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the department.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
