AIRBUS offer 40 vacancies for our full time graduate program in Spain - DISCOVER II 2024/2025 - Starting date October 1st 2024

We are looking for recent graduates from different disciplines interested in developing their professional career in the aeronautical sector.The current context demands different ways of looking, thinking and relating.

What does this internship consists in?

Together with Camilo José Cela University, Airbus has developed an exclusive program (DISCOVER) designed for those interested in the best training in new areas of knowledge essential to be able to develop as professionals of the future.

You will have the opportunity to study a Master, organized in three training blocks, that will allow you to DISCOVER the skills most in demand today. It will be combined with an 11 month internship at Airbus in an area related to your degree, where you can learn and complete your academic background.

The start of the internship will be in early October 2024, and will last 11 months (August disabled for all purposes). It is a full-time experience (40h/week), in which you will receive an attractive study grant.

Internship Description

The Facility Management and Real Estate department is in charge of the management of AIRBUS properties and services.

Among its functions we can highlight space optimization policies, coordination of construction or renovation projects, contracting of products and services related to the proper functioning of the facilities, as well as their maintenance and conservation, or the development of corporate strategies regarding the real estate resources.

Facility Management is one of the major contributors, based on its management, of the impacts of AIRBUS sustainability policies and, therefore, a key area in the company&39;s strategy.

Project object

The objective of the project is to improve the sustainability of the Cadiz, Puerto Santa Maria plant, in three fundamental lines of action:

• Analysis of water consumption & proposals for monitoring and repair.

• Sustainability project/awareness of the use of public transport.

Current situation and needs plan

The plant is currently in a transitory process of transferring its facilities, which implies the need to optimize their conditions through control, monitoring and repair. All this in order to achieve the commitments and sustainability objectives established by its Management, as well as its management and certification systems.

Analysis of available data

In order to develop the improvement plans that start from the previous point, there are data collection systems and control equipment for water, energy, gas and waste. In addition to teams and KPIs dedicated to monitoring and analyzing the data for their treatment.

Analysis of water consumption & proposals for monitoring and repair. The plant is monitored by buildings with exceptions,detecting Water losses that are not recorded in meters or meters whose operation or data collection does not match reality. This is why a sustainable repair and monitoring solution is required.

Sustainability project/awareness of the use of public transport. Through the study of the incidents of the service, as well as the optimization of the different transport routes, it is intended to implement the necessary improvements that lead to a more attractive service for the user. Consequently, its use would be encouraged as a sustainable service that meets more expectations than it currently does.

Proposal for the implementation of sustainability solutions

In the case of water consumption analysis and monitoring and repair proposals, the &34;As Is&34; study and the proposal of an improvement project are required to reach &34;To Be&34; through a small investment that helps detect leaks, as well as possible improvements in current equipment and repair proposals.

After the analysis and the proposal for improvements, an awareness campaign for the use of public transport would be developed.

Looking for a profile that has:

• Degree in Environment / Energy Management / Engineering

• Negotiation level knowledge of English
